Dear Carlos:
We just wanted to say thank you
for the
quality training you provided to our dogs. We cannot believe how
obedient and well behave they are at the house. It's a pleasure to
live with them and it's a big relief! We realize that we learned
living with them is a comfortable and loving thing.
Thank you.

I would like to let you know how pleased I am with
our training results over the past six months. Before we started
training together many people told me that I had a great dog, but
also one that was very hard to train. You took the time to evaluate
me and my dog and figure out a training routine that would work for
both of us. Because of your individualized training program the
sport of Schutzhund has been brought to a whole new level for both
Sunny and myself.

Hi,
My name is Elaine and I am proudly owned by a big, red, male Doberman named
Dublin. We've done many things, and some of them were quite a challenge. I
had his AKC Championship and his AKC obedience titles and decided to do
agility. We had some rough times until I found the right trainer. She was
(and still is) awesome. Chris had an understanding of my dogs needs and
helped us both work as a team. All his agility titles I give her credit for.
Dublin got injured and his agility career came to an end. However, he was
used to training 3-4 days a week and trialing on the weekends. Retirement
was not an option...he still wanted to work. Another good friend of mine had
been bugging me to get him started in tracking. So we embarked on tracking.
Started out in Jan. in about a foot of snow. I took him out once a week and
we tracked. I did a Tracking Education day with a local tracking club. I
learned a lot about how AKC rules and regs worked, and how a dog is able to
track. I also learned a bit about how the handler "Handles". The club had a
Tracking match, which we entered and Dublin passed and was then certified as
a result. In the meantime, the AKC came out with new titles for dogs who
completed agility titles, obedience titles and tracking titles ~ in
different degrees. I wanted one (Veracity Companion Dog). I entered two
tracking trials...he failed miserably. I went back out on weekends and
"worked" him...he did not improve. Several people tried different
things...but nothing was working. Then another friend and I went out one
early morning to track and after seeing Dublin and speaking with me, she
recommended Carlos Rojas.
Carlos was to tracking what Chris was to agility. He watched the dog work,
and saw the problem. He can read the dogs and he knew what had to be done to
make Dublin successful. We went out twice a week, every week for 2 1/2
months ~ the dog wasn't the only problem (as in agility, I take 50% of the
blame) and Carlos worked on both ends of the lead. I'm proud to say that
Dublin is the 1st AKC Champion in the history of Doberman's to achieve (as
of this writing, I'm still waiting for confirmation) the VCD-2 (advanced
agility, advanced obedience and Tracking). Carlos gets all the credit for
his TD and I thank him for all his help. I'll be starting my rescue dog with
him as well...I don't like repeating mistakes and when I wanted a mentor in
Tracking, I got the best...

Learning to work my Dobermans with Carlos Rojas
has been a tremendous benefit to both myself and my dogs. They are
happily learning, constantly improving, and most importantly, I am learning.
The combination of Carlos's expertise and
Carlos's ability to communicate to me and my dogs is simply wonderful.

Carlos,
Thank you once again for the great dog we got from you.
We could not have gotten a better puppy. She has her share of puppy
moments, but she is an extremely smart and loving dog. She is very social
with other people and dogs, yet also very protective of her house.
The training you did with her was amazing and she loved working
with you. You are truly a miracle worker. We can't wait to bring Freya
back for the next level of training.
Thank you again,

Django v. Chanmiche, SchH3
Deciding where to bring your dog for training is not
easy, you want to do the right thing for your pet, you want to be
assured that your dog will be treated with love and care, and at the
same time be obedience trained so that your family and you can share in
the exciting and wonderful experience of having a dog be a part of your
life. Carlos
Rojas is a master dog trainer and breeder of high level German
Shepherds, his breeding program utilizes bloodlines from the top
European working lines.
I have trained with
Carlos for over four years, we train in Schutzhund, a dog sport that
requires precise obedience, powerful protection work, and tracking,
which is the ability for a dog to follow a track just from the scent of
footsteps. The dog must not only excel in these three disciplines, the
dog must also display an enjoyment of working as a
team with the handler, this enjoyment of the dog and handler comes with
the training being done with love and positive motivation.
It has taken me a long
time to begin to understand how Carlos attains the consistency in his
training. To start he evaluates the dog and trains every dog differently
based on the dogs temperament, personality and other criteria’s. The
most important talent that Carlos has, and I believe it to be a natural
gift, is his ability to look into the dog’s soul, and understand what he
needs to do to communicate with each and every dog. I have seen dogs
bond instantly with Carlos, he puts his hands on the dog, makes the dog
comfortable, and magic happens, the dog responds as if they have known
each other forever.
Well I hope you and your dog have the
best life together.

Hi Carlos
I was just looking through your website, wow, it has
grown tremendously and your son is adorable. Hope all is well with
you guys. It seems like a lifetime ago when we bought Zoe (Ozi)
from you guys and spent the summer training her. She is settling
down now that she is getting on in years, she is still a beautiful
dog and everyone still comments on it, she is now part of a pack of
5, yes we have finally cut off at 5 dogs. They love the farm life
here in Colorado with the open spaces, open irrigation ditches to
romp around in and they get to go on lots of fun walks. I am
attaching some recent pictures of Zoe for you guys to see. Vee1
picture has Zoe in the front right with the rest of the pack. She
gets on really well with other dogs now and we can walk her off
leash.
Drop us a line when you get a chance out of your busy
schedule.

Dear Carlos
& Ai,
Thank you for breeding such an awesome dog, Sol is loving, strong,
athletic & fearless.
I take her
to work with me at a small airport and she welcomes all strangers and
she loves
children. Her favorite activity is diving into our pool, she is a great
swimmer. We cannot
wait until
we get another pup from you, we've already picked out a name!

Hi Carlos,
Wanted to drop you a note to say Hello and send some recent photos for
you.
Ilka is doing great. She remains a very happy dog and is extremely loyal
to me, never leaving my side.
In fact, the photo of her on the couch with me was taken a couple months
ago while I was sick, she climbed up with me and remained until I
eventually got up. And the other photos are while I was recording
some new guitar tracks and of course, she keeps with me.
Hope you and the family are well and I look forward to visiting you
again one day, be it for another pup or just to stop in for a social

we DID!!! those few weeks had such an impact - they made our lives
manageable and have had a lasting impact. The chaos has been
replaced with serenity.

Dear Carlos,
Just need to say thank you so much.
Harley has really become a great city dog. He enjoys people, other
dogs and animals, no problem with his social life at all. Your
obedient training is so great! I am very satisfied with the result.
I was not sure if you gave me my dog back. Because, I am also amaze
on how he has over come his fear of bikes, motorcycles, trucks and
loud noises. He is wonderful in the house and out. It's so great
the way he listens to my commands and walks by me without a
leash and I don't have to worry about him running away. What else
can I say? You gave me a new, improved dog that the whole family can
love, enjoy and appreciate. You're Wonderful! And again, Thank You

Congratulations on the arrival on your new addition!!! I look often

I had wanted
to send you some pictures of Bruno that we had taken recently. In
some pictures he is with our daughter, Gianna. He is doing very
well!!!! He is now 100lbs but VERY active and LOVES to go to the
park, play ball, and go for long walks. Bruno is just an amazing
dog!!! We all love him soo much! He is very protective of Gianna,
which we love. I continue to train him every few days using the
techniques that you had shown me in class. He responds right
away!! Bruno responds very well when I call him and NEVER leaves my
side. I can't tell you enough just how much those classes have
helped him and I. I understand him much more now and he is always
eager to please.
We are
hoping to bring Bruno back for the next level of classes in the near
future. Until then, I will continue to send you pictures of the
amazing dog which you have bred. Take care and give our best to

Hi Carlos & Ai:
Here are a few pictures
of Reina as she has grown bigger. She loves action. She's a happy puppy,
LOVES HER FOOD, and is sociable and intelligent. People stop me on the
street to tell me how beautiful she is. She still hasn't figured out why
the cats don't act like dogs. She's adjusting very well here, with lots
of human and dog friends, and never a speck of a problem in the crate.
(She has one in the bedroom, so she sleeps through the night, and one
downstairs.) She is a great puppy, and she keeps me very busy!! Thanks

Hello Carlos,
Just wanted to drop you a line and some pictures of Alice. Debra and I
want to thank you for allowing us to have such a great girl. She is getting
bigger and smarter. Walks on the leash are great and she absolutly love
them.
Her most favorite thing in the world is playing ball. She just cannot
get enough. Alice is now fine tuning her nose by finding the ball that I
hide from her. She is an absolute pleasure to have. (Now if only she could
talk.)
Hope all is well in NJ and the coming addition. Would love to have
Alice trained further and I will contact you a bit later. For now enjoy the
pictures and here's to seeing you soon.

Hello Mr. Rojas. How are you and the family doing? This is
Carlos. I just wanted to tell you that Corona is doing very well. She
is so smart, I had a family BBQ at my house, there were a lot of people
and children over the house. I decided to let Corona out of
her crate and join us, "because she is part of the family".. Mr.
Rojas, everyone and I were very impressed with her, she behaved very
well, what ever I said to her she did right away. Corona was
playing ball with the children. There ages were between 3 yrs old to 16
yrs of age. Mr. Rojas, Corona played so gentle with the children, even
a 3 year old!!! We are so happy with her, not only she is gentle with
my children, she is also a very good guard dog!!! No one can come
in my house or yard without me letting them. That's how I like
it!!!!Mr. Rojas, Thank you once again for Corona, she is a unbelievable
dog. We love her very much........THANK YOU !!!!

From the moment that I received my Pit Bull pup Kane at six weeks, I knew that
he was going to be a hand full. Even at that young age, he had an incredibly
dominant personality. He was very outgoing, and would even challenge my
older Pit Bull Ceasar. The American Pit Bull Terrier is an incredibly
misunderstood breed that receives a very bad rap. When properly trained and
socialized, they make incredible loving dogs and are excellent with
children. They can at the same time be very strong willed and a handful if
you're not prepared.
As little Kane matured, things took a slight turn for the worse one day when I
took him to a local dog run for exercise. I had been trying my best to
socialize my guys with other dogs to overcome the dog aggression that can
sometimes occur with this breed, and it was going well for months. That day
as little Kane was running around, a man walked into the run with a very
big, very aggressive un-neutered male Pit Bull. Little Kane at the time was
about 6 months. He ran up to the other male to say hello and has soon as he
tried to sniff him, the other male growled and bit Kane on the face. At
first I was extremely afraid for Kane, because up until that point he had
never shown any sign of aggression to anybody or anything. To my surprise
Kane actually snapped, and fought back almost severely hurting the other
dog. I grabbed Kane, who had bite marks on his face, and brought him out of
the run as the other owner laughed about the whole incident. Even though
the wounds from the bout healed quickly, I would soon find out that the
psychological effects took a greater toll.
Kane, a dog that was once completely comfortable around other dogs, would
now get into complete defensive mode anytime another dog was in a reasonable
distance. The hackles on his neck and spine would stand up, and he would
start growling and snapping. It didn't matter what gender the other animal
was, or whether or not they were fixed. Kane was now in a state of constant
fear that he would be attacked again and his mentality was to attack before
that could happen.
His dominance issues also manifested in other ways around the house. It
became hard to walk him as he constantly pulled. He also would charge the
door anytime anyone would enter and got into the habit of play nipping any
visitors that came over to the house. While he never drew blood, he would
often leave bruises. Even though my girlfriend and I never feared that he
would attack a person, we knew that we needed help getting his issues under
control before they escalated to an uncontrollable level. This is where
Carlos came into the picture.
I had done extensive research in trying to find the best trainer. For a while
I was contemplating doing a local trainer, but the high prices and limited
number of sessions gave me doubts. After searching for weeks I found
Carlos' website. I called the number and talked to him on the phone and he
guaranteed results. Even though my girlfriend and I were a little
apprehensive about leaving him for such a long period of time for the Basic
Obedience course, we knew that it had to be done. When we dropped off Kane
to Carlos, Carlos promised that his obedience, walking on the leash, and
above all self control would improve drastically. He even said that there
was a chance he might be able to help with the dog aggression issues.
Fast forward now to a couple of years later. Kane has completed two rounds
of obedience training with Carlos, and we are counting on sending him over
for a third. He iss an incredible trainer and the results have been even
more incredible. Kane is very obedient and can walk on and off the leash
while constantly heeling. The play biting stopped, and now people feel
comfortable coming over to the house. My girlfriend can handle both Kane and
my other Pit Bull, who also went to Carlos, on leisurely walks as they do
not pull in the slightest. People are amazed. He also has gotten a lot
better as far as his relations with other dogs and does not have his hackles
constantly raised like he used to. I think that the attack on Kane spawned
a mentality in him, in which he constantly had to prove himself. He was
always constantly challenging us, and didn't know his place within our
little pack but all of that has changed. Carlos has been of the best things
to happen to our family. I would highly recommend him to anyone out there
who has dog, especially a strong willed breed like the Pit Bull. The dogs
respond to him amazingly and Carlos does a great job of letting the dogs
know that he loves them, but at the same time they understand that they must
listen and respect. Thank You Carlos! I look forward to continuing my dogs
education with him for years to come.

Sincerely,
Marc Deliz (Westchester, Pennsylvania)

We are extremely
happy with our puppy Otto, which we picked up from you in November at a
mere 10 lbs. Happy to report,
he just got back from the vet for his shots and check up, he's a
whopping 48 pounds, solid like you said he
tapers nicely in the hips and can see the ribs. So a fit 48 pounds. He's
very aware of what's going on around our daughter, which is why we
wanted a German Sheppard and why we chose your facility.
Your wife had
called a few months ago asking for a "U" name since Otto was from the
"U" litter. We have-
actually our daughter liked Ulrich, so if you can forward the info to
your wife, we would appreciate it.
I just have two
questions. The first is following up with training. You had mentioned we
should start somewhere at the six month level. Other then a couple
typical puppy issues (jumping- nipping while playing) he is a dream.
Loves to walk daily, plays in the back yard, plays with our daughter
who's 26 months and is very alert. He was house broken from day one, and
loves to sleep in his kennel. Thanks for the advise of covering the
kennel. We had bought a all wire kennel. I covered the kennel with thin
press board and he loves the cave effect. Otto will be six months in
April and I want to get on your schedule for the training. Watching you
train the dogs when we first came to talk to you about a puppy was huge
selling point. So if you can let me know when you have availability. My
wife is a stay at home mom so really any day(s) during the week or
weekend would work. Secondly, we are going to Florida for my wife's
mother's 70 birthday on March 19th returning the evening of the 22nd. Is
there a bordering facility you would recommend? Or do you border? I hate
leaving him for the few days, I just think it would be too much this
young to fly and the hotel is not pet friendly. We live in Toms River.
I'm not a big fan of boarding, but I would trust you or your
recommendation.
Thanks again for
Otto, I've enclosed a photo for your pleasure.

Hi Carlos,
Am very pleased with your training, I took her out with me several times
and its really amazing how much she has changed.
You're GREAT trainer there is no doubt about that. I do have something
to tell you my little girl is heart broken. She looks sad and cries at
time I think she misses her Papa. Here's the picture of both of you.

Exxon vom Schwarzen Skorpion (Nexi), BH
Hi Carlos,
Thanks for all you
have done for Nexi and I. Watching the video; I noticed how much you
help even during the trial. The little things you do keep the dogs under
control and in the proper position. You also take the blame to the judge
when it is our fault, like yesterday when you told him you did not have
us practice the correct amount of steps. (You told us at least a dozen
times) I really appreciate your help and guidance.
Gratefully yours,
Ken Porter

Dear Carlos and Ai,
Words cannot
adequately express my sincere thanks and gratitude for all you have done
for me and Dante. Thank you for your love, care and compassion for both
of us. Thank you for taking Dante in to your home and making him part
of your family for the past three months. I believe you love him as
much as I do. Thank you for working with Dante and for giving me back
my hope that he can be trained and he can return home to me. I don’t
know what we would have done without you.
He has been a little
confused in new place full of boxes. He followed me everywhere in the
apartment on Sunday and Monday. I took him for a little swim to the
lake in New Egypt after I had picked him up from your home. Yesterday
very early morning I took him to the huge field by my new place. There
were sprinkles working all over the field. He went crazy running under
water and rolling in the grass – he truly was so happy because he loves
water so much. I am going to work very hard not to fail with Dante.
The worst enemy is my mind. Thank you again for everything.
Love,
Agnes and Dante
